The 2025 Belgian Chess Championship will take place in Westerlo (Voortkapel). It is a collaboration between Rokade Westerlo VZW and Schaakliga Antwerpen VZW. The tournament will run from Saturday, July 5, 2025 through Sunday, July 13, 2025.
Expert Tournament
The expert tournament is an invitation-only tournament with 10 players in round-robin format. These players, all affiliated with a Belgian club and either FIDE-Belgian or resident in Belgium, are competing for first place in this BK.
Open tournament
The open tournament is open to all players who are members of a Belgian chess club. Chess players of all ages and levels are welcome. The tournament will be played according to the Swiss system.
